Arroz con leche, the classic (8 -10 people)

Ingredients
1 cup of rice
5 1/2 cups of water
2 cinnamon sticks
3 cloves
orange zest
1 cup of evaporated milk
1 cup of condensed milk
cinnamon powder
100g of blond raisins
100g of black raisins
A little bit of rum
Steps
The day before, macerate the raisins with the rum.
In a small saucepan put the remaining water (1/2 cup) and the orange zest. Boil. Reserve.
In another pot, place 5 cups of water, the rice, the previously boiled zest, the cinnamon sticks and the cloves. Cook until the water is reduced.
When the water is reduced, add the evaporated milk. When it boils, add the evaporated milk and the two types of raisins. Cook for 16 - 18 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from the heat, take out the cinnamon sticks and cloves, and put what was cooked in a refractory bowl (which supports the heat).
Sprinkle cinnamon powder on top. It can be served hot or cold.
